Wonderful compliance help and great customer support!
What do you like best about the product?
We just finished our SOC 2 type 2 and are also using Drata for GDPR compliance. Ryan our customer service rep recommended a partner to help with our recently completed auidit and it was smooth sailing. Drata is easy to use, easy to navigate and has top tier customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drata is always making new improvements to better their product. There is not much that I disklike about Drata.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helped to get us SOC 2 and GDPR compliant.

Easy to use security automation paltform
What do you like best about the product?
large set of cloud integartion libraries, Fantastic cuetomer support.

Takes a litle to get used to, but once you gat the hang of it its pretty easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helped us aotumate our SOC II compliance with easy to use unterface and a large libray of cloud integrations.
SOC, ISO and HIPAA compliance is a monumental task to complete manually and drata has done a fantastic job to simplify the controls in easy to understand components.

What do you like best about the product?
Out of the four systems I reviewed, Drata stood out as the best by far. Its ease of implementation, seamless creation, organization, and visibility of policies and reports, and comprehensive preparation for onsite and remote audits were unparalleled. The system offers fantastic monitoring features, significantly contributing to employee and company peace of mind, thereby fostering secure relationships with partners and clients.
I could hardly imagine the magnitude of challenges I would have faced had I started ISO 27001 from scratch. With Drata, I saved an astounding 8-12 months of work! The support provided by Drata is nothing short of epic; always ready to assist and ensure smooth operations.
Moreover, Drata offers excellent recommendations and has a network of partners to provide solutions for security training, background checks, HRIS, ticketing, identity, and much more. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, and I have it configured for weekly Security Controls Status Updates. Using Drata has been a game-changer for my compliance efforts, and I highly recommend it to others seeking a comprehensive and efficient compliance automation platform.

Unreliable, full of bugs, rarely accurate.
What do you like best about the product?
Drata gives one hope for what a compliance monitoring system should be.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had originally left the management of Drata to our compliance officer but, after hearing the system was not performing as it had been pitched to me and other members of executive leadership, I stepped in to see what a day in the life was like as an administrator. A week later, I was still trying to sort out the mess. While the look and feel of the interface is great, that "automagic" user interface is a marketing illusion. Drata was hopelessly full of user experience, admin experience, integration, and status reporting errors that could not be fixed without, amongst other things, accessing pages no human could reach through the normal interface, asking the helpdesk to restart the system on the backend, and manually overriding background check mappings. Working with the helpdesk (good people unable to overcome their development team's delivery tempo) was a daily undertaking.
In the end, our auditors said the reports coming off of Drata were inadmissable due to their superficial nature and the unreliability of the underlying data. I love the idea, but it's just three to four years of development from being a product we can rely upon.

We purchased Drata as a force multiplier for our compliance officer. It was intended to automate the monitoring and report generation around day to day compliance activities associated with our firm.
Drata - easy to use and track progress
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is extremely easy to implement and more importantly, track company progress against SOC2 compliance in order to drive adoption of compliant processes & controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drata has been extremely valuable in our push towards compliance best practices and SOC2 compliance. While there were some employee hesitations about downloading Drata and its activity tracking capabilities, we were able to clearly explain what Drata will and will not do in terms of employee activity tracking to assuage any concerns and drive adoption across our employee base.

Drata was able to get our SOC audit completed on-time with easy management and integrations.

We really liked the automated compliance monitoring of our hosted cloud environments for potentials threats and misconfigurations. With threats and their resolutions highlighted, it was easy to resolve security configurations.

What do you dislike about the product?
A couple features such as employees and their respective accounts were not in sync in the cloud environments due to little difficult way of configuring that option. Was able to get help from their support though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata makes it very easy to manage all controls of the SOC framework (in our case). Multiple integrations allow users to quickly identify loopholes in different environments. Drata also provides instructions on how to solve those issues.
Happy customer and materially better than our prior set up
What do you like best about the product?
Drata has been able to help us consolidate into one place all our security and compliance documentation and ensure we can track that we are continually meeting requirements, and share that documentation with current and prospective customers. This is a massive improvement on the various files, folders, wikis etc that we had before. Their customer facing trust page is great, and I particularly like the in-app chat with support (I had a lot of questions getting started). It was easy to set up integrations with our various systems too. I'm probably not using Drata as much as I was during set up but still find the system easy to use and to get what I need. Finally, they have been responsive in improving their platform with new product features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is probably only a couple of downsides that I've experienced with Drata but they are complaints around the margins. A two-way integration with our ticketing system would be great for autmatically creating tickets for failing tests. It would be nice to be able to download results of certain tests only into a separate report too. And finally at times I found it hard to find the relevant help article so found myself going to support perhaps more than I would have otherwise. It doesn't have an in-built questionnaire response tool, but does integrate with others
