Easy to use, great security compliance platform with good support
What do you like best about the product?
You can always ask questions to your account manager and even online expert chat. They will get back to you quickly. The system is designed for self-service, and it does make the SOC2 compliance process a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see the platform has more compliance products it can support besides SOC2, ISO, and PCI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 compliance is long. complex, and time-consuming process. Drata, it makes the whole process a lot easier. There are policy templates you can easily adjust, and the control dashboard for easy monitoring of the process.

It gave us a clear roadmap for what we needed to do and was painless.
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is excellent. I like Controls and checking them at any stage and have confidence that we are compliant. I also think the Policy Center and Drata Agent are great. I think that the integrations with Certn and GitLab are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few instances where 'Auto' controls would make sense to me - for example, the Risk Matrix - I needed to upload the document provided by Drata into the Reports section to be able to link it.
I am also excited to see what Drata does in the future with more integrations, as I found the HR one (Gusto) a little underwhelming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main reason we engaged was to 'tick the box' our clients ask for - namely that we are SOC 2 compliant. Through the process of using Drata and becoming compliant, we see Drata as a fundamental tool for our gorwing organization - it 'forced' us to have some really great conversations internally re: best practices, policies and processes. Also, as we are a SaaS company, we were able to enhance our security posture in a very targeted and cost-effective manner.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track and manage many different aspects of compliance in one centralized location is invaluable. If it were for that feature alone, I'd still think Drata was a bargain. Including the auditors' services, automated monitoring, and ease of use makes it that much more useful for automating away the tedious parts and letting you get back to running your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints about the system thus far. All features released seem stable and tested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest benefit is time savings. Using Drata allows us to do more with fewer people, which is important for a small company like ours.
Tackling compliance in an organized and visually intuitive manner
What do you like best about the product?
The test view under the monitoring tab allows me to easily see what data I need to gather or who needs to be addressed at my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know Drata is working on this, but it more external security integrations. One example of this would be Curricula.

We are prepping for our SOC2 compliance review & Drata made it easier to see what evidence we still needed to gather.

Easy to use and then UI makes it easy to see what evidence you still need to gather.
Game Changing!
What do you like best about the product?
Drata has made the whole risk and compliance monitoring very simple. It's great knowing exactly what our posture is at any given time, and where we need to focus attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can think of that isn't of value to us.

Drata helped to show us where we had some gaps in our security and compliance setup, and to prepare for our SOC2 audit quickly. The continuous monitoring functionality ensures we stay on track.
SOC2 made easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the team and the product. SOC2 was constantly getting in the way for every sale, and I needed something quick and easy. In my past, SOC2 audit was a nightmare and with Drata, it is organized, automated, and more effortless. The decision-making point for me was the customer success team. They are vested in your success, and that matters!

Drata satisfies the requirements I'm looking for. So, I have nothing specific to add here

The portal was exceptionally intuitive. I didn't need to provide any coaching to get the entire organization onboarded.

There are some things I would add, and I have shared my feedback with a very attentive product team. I want to help them as much as they want to help me.

We ensured visibility around security compliance and audit readiness for ISO27001 and SOC2.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used/tested several tools to prepare for audits. Drata was the easiest and onboarded, audit ready within 3 weeks. Worth a look.
A good buying experience
What do you like best about the product?
They set very realistic expectations about how long it takes to implement & achieve SOC2 during the sales process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their auditor view wasn't great when we bought. Since then they've improved it but it still added time to our audit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wanted an automated solution for SOC2 monitoring. They definitely made it easier, there are still a lot of manual steps though and that's unavoidable despite the tools you use.

What do you like best about the product?
We've had a great experience working with Alex H at Drata! Not only did he make the process seamless, he was also always available to answer every question! The tool is also amazingly user-friendly and easy to navigate and understand!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of! Everything has been great so far!

We are working on our Soc 2 compliance. This process has also helped us do a deep dive into internal policies.
