The ideal platform for compliance automation
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Drata for over a year, and I has revolutionized our compliance process. Automating the collection of evidence and monitoring of security controls has had a huge impact on making our SOC 2 journey smooth, predictable and exception-free. Drata has proven to be the ideal platform for automating and streamlining our compliance efforts.
From the initial implementation to beyond, Drata has provided us with step-by-step guidance and pre-built templates, making it easy to navigate through the complex compliance requirements. We were able to save significant time and resources in managing our compliance programs.
Drata seamlessly integrates with our existing identity management, version control and issue tracking systems and infrastructure and automatically monitors and collects compliance data. The continuous monitoring feature ensures that we are always up to date with our compliance status, providing real-time insights and alerts.
The customer support provided by the Drata team is exceptional. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and readily available to address any questions or concerns that arise during the compliance process.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about Drata. In the beginning, the integration points offered in Drata didn't include all the systems we were using, but they're continually adding more functionality and meet all our needs now.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy of connecting Policies and Documents to the need controls. Made for an easy way to follow progress while completing SOC
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it should be easier to understand DNF's in order to get items to pass. Looking those up can be time consuming

Everything involving SOC-2, i dont think we could have gotten through this process with out it

The customer AND product development support towards our Drata implementation has been excellent. We have regular check-ins with Peyton (our rep), who ensures we're well taken care of!
We particularly appreciate just how much the product development team consults with us as they work to introduce more functionality into Drata. As Drata evolves, I see that genuine thought has been applied to address the feedback on our experiences.

What do you dislike about the product?
As we implement Drata more and more into daily use, we notice certain missing functionalities that we'd expect. However, as noted, the customer and product support has been incredibly responsive in incorporating our feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping us to streamline the various compliance and testing tasks out there. We hope this will also make interactions with external parties (customers, auditors) more seamless and pain-free.
Drata is the only one for compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The entire product, front to back and the support center is top notch. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design of the service. The fact that the support personal give immediate answers, (and the right answer!), forces me to give Drata five stars.
What do you dislike about the product?
Literally nothing I dislike about Drata.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping our company become HIPAA and SOC Type II compliant.

*Most features are automated and can help alert us if any unconformities may happen as we mitigate risks.
*Policy template is useful
*Highly sophisticated
*We can keep track of many other moving parts using the platforms, such as Vendor management and the training platforms that can be integrated easily into other platforms outside drata.
* The success manager Tayler Gase also made joining Drata and the integration effortless.
*More upcoming features/functionality coming as they progress using customer feedback
*Most features are automated and can help alert us if any unconformities may happen as we mitigate risks.

*The allocation of tasks to different business heads or risk owners is not fully functional, hope this will change soon.

It's streamlining the ISO 27001 implementation, thereby making a better security posture for our organisation
Drata is working great for VITALITY
What do you like best about the product?
Their already built policies were fantastic. They make my life easier to understand and fill out.
What do you dislike about the product?
They don't have every policy or standard that we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are going for SOC2 and ISO27001 Compliance. We are looking at using the custom templates for FedRamp
Couldn't do it without Drata
What do you like best about the product?
Drata created what I had cobbled together with multiple tech platforms. Its really easy to get set up and monitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trust center isn't included in the compliance subscription. Certain controls aren't monitored actively yet.

-- The first significant benefit is that Drata has MANY different integrations (HR, Software Repo, MDM, etc.) that work EXTREMELY well - automating integrated controls compliance reviews. This feature is especially helpful to me in staying on top of controls related to our HR data, Training systems, MDM compliance, access to software repos, etc.
(If you are comparing Drata to other leading compliance toolsets - first compare the number of integrations Drata has vs. its nearest competitor. You will probably be surprised.)
-- The Drata controls compliance dashboard helps me stay on top of the control-set issues found daily. I see a control problem the day it happens and can begin troubleshooting toward resolution. On a larger scale -- the automation/streamlined workflows ensure that we are hitting compliance milestones timely. My boss loves this context for monthly status reports on how we are tracking toward the annual audit review.
-- I love the Drata audit hub, which allows our external auditor to hit our compliance instance directly and review evidence without making multiple requests for information. Over the last 20 years, I've done countless compliance audits & Drata pays for itself just in the efficiency found here.
- Drata's 'workspace' capability allows us to submit several different product offerings for our SOC2 review.
-- TrustCenter is an impressive sales toolset. Trustcenter allows our customers to accept our NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and download our SOC2 report, automating a slow and cumbersome process before we had Drata. The impression this leaves on our customers is priceless.
-- Finally - my experience with the Drata customer service team is that they go "above and beyond" to resolve issues promptly. Drata's support team is fantastic!

I don't have anything outstanding to note at this point. In Drata's 'Risk' category - I'm currently reviewing the global risk assessment, third-party vendor risk, and asset modules to ensure we are fully prepared for our upcoming audit.

Security and Compliance automation. SOC2 Type II audit efficiencies. Readiness for ISO 27001 (ISMS - InfoSec) and ISO 27701 (PMS - Privacy) compliance. GDPR compliance.

Drata is an Extension to Our Ultra Lean Compliance Team
What do you like best about the product?
My current company just started our transition to Drata from another GRC platform recently, and I am very happy with our decision to do so. Drata centralizes and streamlines compliance workflows, so it becomes a single source of truth for all compliance-related information. In addition to improving our overall operational efficiency, Drata has greatly enhanced visibility into my company's current compliance posture, allowing my team to make more informed decisions on where to focus on our gap remediation efforts. Given we are still a small startup with our sights set on obtaining ISO2700, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI certifications over the next 6 months, we see Drata's highly intuitive platform and knowledge experts as an indispensable extension of our very lean team, as we were tasked with scaling our compliance program to match the company's growth without necessarily adding headcount. On top of the phenomenal product support from platform power users to seasoned compliance veterans, all of whom are just a chat window away, my team is blessed to have been paired with our customer success manager Laci White, who is basically acting as our technical project manager. We had our kickoff meeting on the Friday before the Memorial Day long weekend, and she actually delivered a detailed project plan, complete with a Gantt chart, that plots out on Memorial Day Monday. This exceptional level of commitment to customer success reminds us why we are happy with our decision to go with Drata.
