One of the best operating softwares for developers
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Desktop is easy to install and there is a lot of documentation available on how to work with this operating system if you are new to it. It is a lightweight operating system in comparison to others out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features provided by Ubuntu can be difficult to understand or work with if you do not have a good idea of what it is. While it might be good for open source development, some basic tasks using text editors seem difficult to use or install (since it is not in-built app).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The latest version of Ubuntu introduces several new features that optimize multitasking in Ubuntu Desktop. Before this version, multitasking didn't seem that efficient in comparison to other operating systems out there. However, with this new feature, we can control the number of active workspaces and organize the tabs more neatly.

Ubuntu Desktop is giving access to running applications at super speed. There are different applications that I open in my Ubuntu and it runs at twice the speed when compared to Windows. Also, I do a lot of developments in my Ununtu

Ubuntu for the Unconventional
What do you like best about the product?
The upside to using Ubuntu is your capability to customize your base experience. Not particularly the ascetic piece, which is much less important, but the programs you run and how exactly they run.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is somewhat of a niche product, in that it is used for a variety of things, but not all at once. Simply put, if you use this operating system for something, you're not always guaranteed to find someone else who uses it the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me the freedom to run different programs on a computer that I otherwise would not be able to. Specifically it can be used with game emulators that other operating systems might reject.

ubuntu desktop
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use as compared to managing things using a terminal window. like managing partitions, monitoring the system usage, processes, RAM, etc. It has a feature called "rxdp" which we use for desktop remote from other OS some of the time to work with. I think it's a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hangs up, stuck for some time, but can be solved after updating some libraries. It does not have a friendly partition system like Windows has. We connect to desktops via Putty to resolve black screen issues that arise from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a developer. We mostly develop programmes that Windows does not support. It takes a long time to install things in Windows, so it's easy to install libraries for Python development in Ubuntu. We discovered that most of the solutions we liked were available for Linux, so we use it.
