Analysis of Ubuntu Desktop
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu operating system provides high level security features because every task is command based . No one can hack your personal files or system because everything is command based .
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not that much simpler or easy to use as windows . Non technical persons can face difficulty while using it because most of task are perform by RUN command prompt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu uses built in firewalls and various virus protection softwares which make this Operating system secure and safe. So this is very useful and safe for bussiness purpose .

Ubuntu is the most reliable operating system I ever come accross.

This is like other operating systems only but others cannot compete this when we are talking about security and reliability

What do you like best about the product?
What I prefer in Ubuntu is the command line universe. Indeed the main part of the software available on Ubuntu exists with a command line mode. As a result, you are quicker for all the tasks you do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software marketplace of Ubuntu is not as huge as other OS. However, we can notice that a lot of online software gradually allows Ubuntu to be competitive in a lot of fields.

Ubuntu is my personal and working OS.

The latest versions are too impressive as compared to the old school linux operating systems. Intuitive gui and all required software tools built in.

What do you like best about the product?
Its gui is much better than other Linux implementation, it has faster performance metrics, it has higher io functions, more secure terminal and network facility

Its no way compared to red hat, not having good applications, no support for advanced games, not having proper folder structure, poor compatibility with apps and devicey

It works as my Hadoop cluster, i can also run cloudera setup with multiple hive and spark instances, rdbms set-up is also available in one of my servers which acts as main database

Easy to install/use and able to install/compile anything which make it very convenient for the developer and the security features which make the IT admin work so easy.Hassle free to update to the new version and regular security patch which make the OS more secure.

Recently the use of Netplan as default to config the network using YML make beginners hard time to config multiple gateway.

Very much easy to deploy and software available on reporistry make us to save time on deploying backup server.Easy to configure basic LAMP make us to live server with code in no time.

Ubuntu is best for developers as it has support for most of the packages.

Not much as I observed but sometimes chrome gets crashed

Installing python packages is very easy and also many packages are already preinstalled.

Ubuntu is good for privacy and security. Ubuntu provides a lot more security than Windows this less prone to virus attacks and hacking

Ubuntu is not as user friendly as Windows.Simple things like storing a file can also be complicated in Ubuntu. Ubuntu also does not support or only provides limited support for some of popular applications

Ubuntu is an open source operating system and required minimum resources to work. Unlike Windows, Ubuntu can run at a much lower specs system and does not have lag or freezing problems
