Very easy to use, fast, excellent performance

Nothing, everything works perfect for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting to remote computers. Very fast, use it on RPA automations and works perfect.

What do you like best about the product?
Is one of the fastest VPN's in the market which allows you to connect to multiple websites or servers quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not GUI for OpenVPN Vainilla version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting to Internal Company Amazon Web Services Virtual Machines and to set me IP as USA account.

I love OpenVPN but AWS is charging me nearly double what this virtual machine is actually worth. I get an EC2 service charge which is correct for the services consumed, and then I get a Marketplace charge of approximately the same amount. For what? The OS is free to run, the vpn server is free to obtain, and the only thing of value is the 25 seat license, which is worth no more than $450 per year yet Marketplace charges for this will be triple that.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to configure and implement, excellent security features, very easy to use and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing multiple connection configurations can be a little bit cumbersome to get setup in the software, but once you complete the configuration, it becomes extremely simple to use - just set it and forget it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a secure method to connect to our remote servers and to Amazon Web Services cloud servers. OpenVPN provided those capabilities wonderfully, and all for free!
VPN everywhere with every device
What do you like best about the product?
You can access the company VPN using any device (laptop, smartphone, tablet, ...)
What do you dislike about the product?
Easy to use but extremely poor in options

When I'm travelling for work, I can access the company VPN easily using the mobile connectivity. It makes my job easier!

What do you like best about the product?
OpenVPN is a solution that I use in my office as well as at home. OpenVPN allows me to treat myself with my private VPN server from a device of my choice. Thanks to OpenVPN, I can safely use open hotspot networks and also use the safe Internet during my travels. An additional advantage is the fact that OpenVPN has a user-friendly web interface for managing the server.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is that the free license is only available for 2 devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With OpenVPN, I can safely treat my company's server in the chosen location.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using this program for more than three years, although it has shown me to be incoherent on some occasions, I have to say that it has complied with everything set out, offers excellent servers to be free, with stable and excellent speed to navigate, protect your data and stay anonymous to prevent theft of information, an excellent program for anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connection weakness, it does not provide support, the program does not notice if it is disconnected from the server, it can connect to an unwanted server, the speed may decrease, it does not provide additional security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have a secure connection to my server, so I'm no longer worried about using free WiFi in public areas.

Connectivity, server diversity in different countries, free, user-friendliness and installation, network security, identity protection, stable speed, anonymity guaranteed.
I hope it gains the fame it deserves and increasingly becomes a standard among producers.
What do you like best about the product?
OpenVPN, understood both as the set of protocols and as the cross-platform client/server application available for free, deserves the utmost success in the world of networking and security. The era of IKE configurations, authentications through complex chains of certificates, the era of long NAT and firewall settings and rules has ended thanks to OpenVPN, which in a Linux environment has allowed me to set up several site-to-site VPN servers for encrypted communication between some VoIP endpoints with support for OVPN configuration files. These files greatly simplify the life of the SecOps team and network and system administrators who no longer have to dedicate entire days, weeks, or months to the manual configuration, client by client, of the correct VPN parameters. I hope it is supported by default by more and more manufacturers of PCs, routers, firewalls, phones, and IoT devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Linux client should be reviewed because, despite GTK or the graphics engine being installed, it has no option to be run in GUI mode but only from the command line, which makes it much more difficult for less experienced users who use Linux solely for security and stability purposes due to their lack of familiarity with the command line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have created about 18 site-to-site VPNs between Azure and AWS, my HQ and AWS, my HQ and Azure, and my HQ to the HQs of other clients who have chosen us for the provision of important and/or business-critical services that therefore require total privacy and confidentiality of data transiting to the WAN or to and from our headquarters. Time saved: about 4 hours per VPN server, about 80 hours in total.

OpenVPN server è uno stack performante e sicurissimo e costantemente aggiornato per eseguire il deployment di VPN di diverso tipo con pieno controllo e gestione di tutte le opzioni di sicurezza disponibili per passare agli utenti finali i soli file di configurazione, ciò che è da rivedere il prima possibile è il client Windows e la shell Linux che sono privi del minimo design grafico, privi di chiarezza sulle opzioni di sicurezza disponibili e poco sicuri sotto il profilo di gestione delle sessioni salvate, fin quando non verranno aggiornati OpenVPN sarà per metà zoppo e per metà un maratoneta
What do you dislike about the product?
Come ho già detto, i client sono da rivedere totalmente perchè non consentono una facile identificazione delle opzioni da scegliere e considerando che spesso finiscono in mano su PC o laptop di utenti finali che hanno la sola necessità di collegarsi senza avere conoscenze informatiche e di networking, è necessario rendere le GUI molto più user friendly e meno complesse oltre che più sicure verso persone che potrebbero non aver ben chiaro con che tipo di file e di sessioni stanno operando dato che spesso dietro un VPN server gira la backbone ed i server di una intera organizzazione

Fornire ed ottenere accesso a risorse Linux, prevalentemente Load balancer e relativi nodi Ubuntu Server in modo sicuro (i clienti chiedono sempre standard di sicurezza maggiori e allo stesso tempo affidabili, sopratutto dopo il bug VORACLE che ha portato l'exploit di migliaia di server VPN), performante e veloce tramite il tuning che consente di processare i pacchetti VPN tramite Hardware su custom firewall appliances come pfSense o similari
Helped save my job!
What do you like best about the product?
Because of using the openVpn, I am able to remotely access our company server from anywhere in the world. Since I have a primarily administrative job, but also do a bit of traveling, this has allowed me to stay connected. I also recently had to move out of state for family, but was able to keep my job since I had the access to files..
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes miss updates and have to connect with a tech team to help fix that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has allowed multiple staff to work from home (during acclimate weather) or on the road when needed. So nothing gets missed or delayed due to other circumstances. In my line of work, that's pretty important for our clients.
