Usage instructions
To use the CloudGenix ION v6.3.4 AWS:
- To procure a license please contact your Palo Alto Networks account manager directly, or request a trial via https://start.paloaltonetworks.com/prisma-sd-wan-free-trial.html
- Obtain a token/secret from https://portal.cloudgenix.com (System Administration -> License Management)
- Launch the appropriate AWS CloudFormation Template for your use case
- Brownfield to insert the ION instance into an existing VPC
- Greenfield to create a new VPC with the ION instance deployed
- Greenfield HA to create a new VPC with the 2 ION instance deployed in seperate availability zones
- Once the image boots it will show up in the portal as online-unclaimed, claim the device and configure per your requirements

What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration with other Palo Alto tools. Good UI and advanced features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very expensive, and there are another tools easier to implement and configure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had the need to interconnect warehouses and define common security policies,QOS and monitoring.

What do you like best about the product?
PAN-OS SDWAN is great for automatically setting up VPN tunnels, creating BGP for routing between branch offices, dual active ISPs, etc. It may not do everything other SD-WAN vendors do, but it is reliable.

I like Prisma SD-WAN because it simplifies network management, offers strong security, and works smoothly for connecting locations with cloud integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Prisma SD-WAN is that its initial setup can be complex and time-consuming, especially for beginners like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prisma SD-WAN solved the issue of unreliable branch connectivity. It ensured stable connections between client locations, which greatly improved operations and reduced disruptions in my work.

Sometimes the UI is not the most friendly, only parts of it. It's comfortable and easy to use for the most part.

It Allows ofr cetralized connectivity, which is very useful in my field of work.
